Elana Urbach
Post-Doc
Elana Urbach started her post-doc in Chris Stubbs's group in August 2021. She works on photometric calibration and optimizing image quality for the Rubin Observatory that is under construction in Chile, primarily working on the Auxiliary Telescope (AuxTel) there. She has installed dome-seeing instrumentation in the AuxTel, and is developing new techniques to disentangle and mitigate sources of image degradation. She did her PhD in experimental quantum sensing with Mikhail Lukin at Harvard University.
